Video Petition
This is a video petition filmed by School Girls Unite and signed by students of Albert Einstein High School to persuade Maryland Congressional Representatives to support legislation that would declare child marriage a human rights violation. This legislation would also have supported programs to reduce the number of girls being married at a young age, and required countries to report the number of child brides being married each year. The legislation was not passed, and we continue to work on this issue.
